BRILLIANT project at Composites Future 2026

From 9 to 12 June 2026, the BRILLIANT project took part in Composites Future 2026, the leading trade show for the composite materials industry hosted at Fiera Milano Rho. The biennial event brings together companies, research centres, professionals and industry stakeholders to discuss the latest innovations in composite materials, including those being developed for a lower environmental impact, and the related production technologies.

At the stand of the Ravenna Technopole, the BRILLIANT project, dedicated to biobased composite materials, was presented by Claudio Mingazzini, of ENEA in Faenza, and by Mattia Morganti, of Certimac. An important opportunity to illustrate to visitors the solutions developed by the project, the challenges encountered during the research process and the potential industrial applications of the resulting technologies. Participation in Composites Future represented a valuable chance to engage in dialogue with the research and industrial sectors, enabling the project to demonstrate its accomplishments and establish new avenues for collaboration. By sharing the knowledge and innovations developed, BRILLIANT continues to contribute to the growth of a sector increasingly focused on sustainability, competitiveness and the adoption of composite materials with a lower environmental impact.
